As a Partner Development Manager at Tarsus On Demand (TOD), you will be responsible for the establishment and expansion of our AWS partner base by developing and managing partner relationships, developing strategic sales and go-to-market plans, and achieving ambitious revenue targets.  TOD is a dynamic Cloud Solutions and Services aggregator focussed on the SMB market to help the channel realise its full potential.  This exciting new role will not only require you to build and lead a new team of driven specialists but also to deliver the best service and superior experience to our partners.

As the Partner Development Manager, you will work closely with the rest of the AWS team as well as the current Sales team to ensure that TOD is acknowledged as the preferred AWS distributor by the market.  Specifically, in your role you will have to establish and manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders aimed at driving partner adoption and expansion.

Your grasp of Cloud solutions and keeping abreast with the market and AWS developments will set you apart in your endeavor to design and implement scalable partner development strategies.

To do this successfully, you will need to collaborate extensively both internally and externally with AWS, partners, and other strategic contributors.
  • Build trusted business relationships with AWS counterparts and key partners while also keeping abreast with AWS technology developments to ensure relevant and competitive solutions are offered to customers. To achieve this, you will have to collaboratively work with key stakeholders to understand and then match customer needs with relevant Cloud solutions.
  • Work closely with the internal AWS team to drive a cohesive strategy that delivers programs and initiatives aimed at partner adoption, growth, and enhanced experience. Part of this will require that you quickly identify roadblocks and pain points experienced by partners and then find ways to solve these.
  • Work with partners to help them develop scalable Go-To-Market strategies that ensure the set sales targets are achieved. Not only will this set you apart as a trusted advisor but will also ensure longevity of partner relationships.
  • Build a team of motivated PDMs whom you will guide and grow to deliver best-in-class partner experience, achieve targets, and ultimately grow the business. Further, you will take ownership of the team’s continuous learning and development through certifications and other avenues.
